From the moment I stepped into Tenggol Dive Buddy Dive Center, I was enveloped in a world of professionalism and passion for diving. The staff exuded warmth and expertise, making me feel instantly welcome and at ease. The facilities were impeccably maintained, with top-of-the-line gear and a cozy area where divers could relax and mingle.

Collectively, Jimmy, Yucca, Alan, and Owen form a formidable team of dive instructors, each contributing a unique set of skills and attributes to the instructional dynamic. Their professionalism, coupled with their passion for diving, results in an instructional experience that is both enriching and fulfilling for participants.

In the realm of dive instruction, precision, expertise, and a profound dedication to safety are paramount. It is within this context that the guidance and instruction provided by Jimmy, Yucca, Alan, and Owen warrant commendation.

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Dive Center was very organised, well run, friendly, patient, and more importantly customer-centric.

Although I used my own equipment, friends who came along on the trip were impressed with the state of the equipment and felt they were “like new”

The instructors & guides were very knowledgeable on the dive sites and were excellent spotters. They were extremely enthusiastic in sharing knowledge and their tremendous experience in diving. More importantly, safety was never taken lightly at all times. My friends who came for their advanced course improved leaps and bounds in buoyancy control. When asked about their success, they attributed it to the instructors who were generous in giving personalized advice to improve and make diving a relaxing and enjoyable endeavour.

Dives were a good duration of between 45-60 mins depending on air consumption. Even more impressive were the goodies during surface time. There were a plethora of options and more than enough for everyone. You had, different carbonated drinks, 2 types of tea, water, watermelon, Swiss rolls, and probably even more if you’d rummaged through the goodie bags.

All in all, heavily recommended.

p.s. one of the fun divers dropped his personal dive comp during the dive and the crew spent 55 minutes searching during lunch surface interval to find it in the reef. 10 for effort, 11 for heart. Tenggol Dive Buddy slays.

Was able to see humpheads and turtles and the staff were really good at explaining things and taking us around the dive sites including a ship wreck too, would definitely recommend here!

 Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Took my Open Water (OW) license here. My coach, Alan, is truly wonderful. He maintains high standards and is a strict person, but his approach has helped me build a strong foundation for diving. I can sense his genuine intention to ensure customers enjoy this sport, rather than just focusing on financial gain. As a testament to this, they even provided us with 3 complementary dives to further practice and improve our skills. The lunch they provided was not only substantial but also quite delicious.

While the accommodation may not be the most hygienic, it was still acceptable for me. Moreover, there are numerous restaurants within a 10-minute drive, offering plenty of dining options for dinner.

Overall, my experience here was excellent, and I will undoubtedly return for my Advanced Open Water (AOW) certification. I highly recommend this place to others seeking diving courses or experiences.
